Held at the Sri Serindit Multipurpose Building in Ranai, Bunguran Timur District, Natuna Regency, Regional Secretary Boy Wijanarko Varianto attended the inauguration ceremony of the Natuna Regency Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) Board for the 2025–2030 term on Friday afternoon (June 13).
In his remarks, Boy Wijanarko Varianto extended his congratulations to the newly inaugurated Dekranasda board, stating that the new leadership should serve as a source of motivation and renewed spirit in advancing the region’s craft sector.
On the same occasion, the Chairperson of Dekranasda Natuna, Syafartidah, explained that Dekranasda functions as one of the supporting organizations for the growth of the creative industry, particularly in promoting local handicrafts that utilize native raw materials.
She also emphasized that although Dekranasda is a non-governmental organization, it plays an integral role in regional development. Therefore, support through policies and work programs from various related organizations is highly necessary.
Among those in attendance were the Chair and Members of Commission I of the Natuna Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (FKPD), assistants and heads of regional government organizations (OPD), representatives of women’s organizations, and the newly inaugurated Dekranasda board members.
