On Friday (March 14), the Ramadan Safari delegation, led by the Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, along with members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) and several heads of Regional Government Organizations, visited the An-Nur Grand Mosque in Sedanau, Bunguran Barat District.
During this occasion, the Regent of Natuna was also scheduled to inaugurate the Sedanau Clean Water Distribution System (SPAM). Before carrying out the Ramadan Safari activities, Regent Cen Sui Lan officiated the opening of the Sedanau Drinking Water Distribution System (SPAM).
The inauguration of SPAM was marked by the opening of a water tap and the signing of a commemorative plaque. In her speech, Cen Sui Lan acknowledged that various challenges arose during the SPAM installation process. However, the local government, through relevant agencies and stakeholders, continues to strive to ensure the availability and distribution of clean water, particularly for the local community.
In honoring the holy month of Ramadan 1446 H through this Ramadan Safari, which was centered at An-Nur Grand Mosque in Sedanau, Cen Sui Lan urged the community to continuously improve the quality of worship, foster compassion for one another, and uphold religious tolerance.
She emphasized that maintaining religious tolerance is essential, as it not only strengthens Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah) but also fosters a harmonious society and solid social resilience.
On the same occasion, the District Head of Bunguran Barat, Khaidir, expressed his gratitude to the Ramadan Safari delegation for consistently scheduling visits to his region every year.
Before breaking the fast together, all congregants and members of the Ramadan Safari delegation were given a spiritual lecture by Ustadz Ngaturrohman from the Natuna Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. (Pro_kopim/arf).
