Attended by the Regional Secretary, heads of Regional Government Organizations, and several women’s organization leaders, Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, officially inaugurated the Natuna Regency Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) Mobilization Team for the 2025–2030 term. The inauguration took place at the Sri Serindit multipurpose hall in Ranai, on Thursday morning (May 9).
In her remarks, Cen Sui Lan congratulated the newly appointed Chairperson and members of the Natuna Regency PKK Mobilization Team.
She emphasized that the role of the PKK organization is highly strategic, particularly as a government partner in supporting development in areas such as education, social resilience, women empowerment, and efforts to build independent and prosperous families.
She acknowledged the weight of these responsibilities, especially considering that one of the national issues—stunting prevention—still remains high, at around 10 to 15 percent. Moving forward, she expressed hope for increased coordination with relevant stakeholders to strive towards achieving zero percent stunting in Natuna Regency.
On the same occasion, the newly appointed Chairperson of the Natuna Regency PKK Mobilization Team, Syafartidah Jarmin, stated that the finalization of the new organizational structure was reached after thorough consideration of various aspects.
She further expressed strong hopes for support from the regional government, particularly through strategic policies that provide opportunities for the PKK organization to contribute in line with its authority, as outlined in the 10th National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas X) of PKK in 2024.
Syafartidah also conveyed a similar hope to the heads of regional organizations that have been working in partnership with PKK. She wished for continued collaboration and coordination, as a demonstration of shared commitment to regional development. (Pro_kopim/D&S)
