A total of 33 high school students who had undergone a selection process and intensive training were officially inaugurated as members of the Paskibraka (Flag Hoisting Troop) of Natuna Regency for the year 2025. These students will carry out the honorable duty of hoisting the national flag during the 80th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

The inauguration ceremony took place at Sri Serindit Hall on Friday evening, August 15. Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, officiated the inauguration of the 2025 Natuna Paskibraka in the presence of members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), heads of regional government organizations, trainers, and the students’ parents or guardians.

In her address, Regent Cen Sui Lan expressed pride and appreciation for the enthusiasm and dedication of the students selected to carry this noble responsibility. She emphasized that this duty is a prestigious milestone not only for the students themselves, but also for their families, schools, and the region.

She further reminded the newly inaugurated members to uphold the knowledge, discipline, sense of responsibility, and patriotism they had developed during their training. These values should be continuously applied in their daily lives, serving as examples to their peers and contributing positively to society.

Meanwhile, Head of the Youth and Sports Office of Natuna Regency, Hikmatul Arif, in his report, conveyed that the Paskibraka members had undergone intensive physical and mental training under the guidance of instructors from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), National Police (Polri), and educators.
