Regent of Natuna Hands Over 59 Phase II PPPK Appointment Decrees: “Be Grateful and Continue to Uphold the Motto Proud to Serve the Nation”

Natuna, September 29, 2025 — Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, officially handed over Appointment Decrees (SK) for Phase II Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) to 59 personnel assigned across various formations. The ceremony took place in Meeting Room II, 2nd Floor, Natuna Regent’s Office, Jalan Batu Sisir, Bukit Arai, Ranai, and was attended by regional officials, including the Vice Regent of Natuna, the Regional Secretary, and several heads of relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations.

In her address, the Regent congratulated all PPPK appointees who have now formally earned recognition as State Civil Apparatus (ASN) under the provisions of the ASN Law. She emphasized that this milestone reflects the culmination of their perseverance through rigorous competency tests, requirements, and the dynamics of the selection process. For that reason, she urged them to express gratitude by demonstrating improved performance.

“Becoming a civil servant is a chosen life path,” she said. “I hope that especially those who have just received their decrees will deeply internalize the responsibilities entrusted to them. It is not only about fulfilling attendance and discipline requirements, but also about embodying a spirit of dedication and delivering quality service as a shared commitment to advancing governance and regional development, in line with our current branding — Proud to Serve the Nation.”

She further reminded PPPK employees to remain consistent in carrying out their duties until the completion of their service, in accordance with the terms of the employment agreement they have signed.

On the same occasion, Head of the Regional Civil Service and Human Resources Agency (BKPSDM) of Natuna Regency, Alim Sanjaya, reported that the recruitment process was carried out in line with Law No. 20 of 2023 on ASN, as part of efforts to implement bureaucratic reform in human resource management. The recruitment was conducted competitively, fairly, objectively, transparently, free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism, and without any fees.

The Phase II PPPK recruitment for the 2024 formation included several stages: Announcement and Registration, Administrative Selection, Competency Selection, Announcement of Results, Document Submission, and the Issuance of Appointment Decrees.

The selection process took place at the Computer Laboratory of SMA Negeri 1 Bunguran Timur, using the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) method by BKN from May 10–15, 2025.

From the results, 16 candidates qualified as teachers, 38 as health workers, and 12 as technical staff, totaling 66 successful candidates. However, seven later withdrew due to placement locations being too far from their families following optimization results. (Prokopim/Endang)
