Regent of Natuna Commends Natuna Police for Providing Clean Water to Tapau Village Residents

Located in Tapau Village, Bunguran Tengah District, Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, accompanied by Vice Regent of Natuna and the Chief of Natuna Police, attended the free clean water distribution event for the residents of Tapau Village on Tuesday afternoon (July 8).

This initiative is part of the National Police’s Free Clean Water Distribution Program, carried out in synergy with the Natuna District Government (Pemkab Natuna).

Also in attendance were the District Head of Bunguran Tengah, the Police Chief of Bunguran Tengah, local Bhabinkamtibmas officers, the Village Head of Tapau, and members of the local community.

During her direct inspection of the water distribution process, Cen Sui Lan emphasized the significance of the initiative, especially in fulfilling the community’s basic needs, particularly as the region enters the dry season.

On this occasion, 8,000 liters of clean water were distributed using three water tanker trucks provided by several agencies, including the Natuna Police Department, PDAM Tirta Nusa, and the Environmental Agency of Natuna Regency.

Cen Sui Lan further noted that the distribution of clean water is a tangible form of government presence through collaboration with Forkopimda, in this case, the Natuna Police.

She also expressed her deep appreciation for the synergy and initiative shown by the Natuna Police in launching this program and hopes that the basic need for clean water in the community will be met more equitably in the future.

The event included a symbolic water distribution ceremony, led by the Regent and Vice Regent of Natuna, alongside the Chief of Natuna Police, which was carried out at Tarwiyatul Islamiah Surau and the residence of Mr. Jasiman, located at Jl.
