Natuna, September 26, 2025 — Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the State Kindergarten (TK Negeri) 001 Bunguran Timur Laut, held in Tanjung Village, Bunguran Timur Laut District, on Friday morning.
In her remarks, the Regent underscored the vital role of kindergartens as institutions that lay the foundation for the next generation. She highlighted that early childhood education should provide a joyful atmosphere that nurtures children’s mental development while fostering positive habits to support their motor skills, brain growth, and essential abilities.
She further emphasized that great expectations rest on early childhood educators, who play a crucial role in equipping young children with strong foundations in character, morality, and values. These, she said, will have a lasting impact on children’s growth and development, not only in terms of physical well-being but also in shaping their habits and knowledge.
Looking ahead, Cen Sui Lan expressed hope that construction of the facility would be completed within 90 days, enabling children to begin their learning activities in the new building as soon as possible.
The ceremony was attended by the Chairperson of the Natuna Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), the Head of the Education Office and representatives from related Regional Apparatus Organizations, the village head and subdistrict head of Bunguran Timur Laut, school principals and teachers, community leaders, and parents.
