Receiving The First Village Service Badge Award from The Ministry of PDTT, The Regent of Natuna Will Push For The Realization of Independent, Advanced, and Developing Villages

Wan Siswandi, The Regent of Natuna, attended the awarding of the First Village Service Badge Award presented by the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (Kemen PDTT) RI on Wednesday (01/02) at the Bintan Argo Resort, Bintan Regency.

The Regent of Natuna, along with several other regional heads, received the First Village Service Badge award based on the results of updating data on the development of village status that reached the status of independent, developed, and developing villages in 2022.

The First Village Service Badge Award was presented directly to the Regent of Natuna and several regional heads at the Regency / City level by Abdul Halim Iskandar, Minister of PDTT RI, who was accompanied by Governor of Riau Islands, Ansar Ahmad.

In his speech, Abdul Halim Iskandar stated that the Ministry of PDTT RI continues to encourage village development in order to achieve independent village status, including through awards given to regional heads who are committed to motivate and encourage the acceleration of village development.

Abdul Halim hopes that the awards will continue to encourage local governments to innovate and support the establishment of independent villages through work program strategies that enable village governments to further optimize the potential and strategic policies in the implementation of village development.

The Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi also expressed gratitude on the occasion to all regional vertical institutions and local government partners who continue to contribute as a form of synergy in village development.

In the future, he hopes that synergy and coordination in designing various policies and innovations in village development programs can be improved further, so that all villages in Natuna Regency can achieve independent, advanced, and developing status as well. (Pro_kopim/Sri, D)
