The budget rationalization policy implemented by the central government on a national scale is a commitment to preventing corruption, despite receiving varied responses during its initial phase.
However, it is expected that this policy will enable budget planning to be structured based on priority needs, making it more effective. Likewise, the Natuna Regency Government will take strategic steps to ensure that governance, development, and quality public services continue to function optimally.
This was conveyed by Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, in her speech during the 1446 Hijri Ramadhan Safari at Hikmatul Huda Mosque, Gunung Putri Village, Bunguran Batubi District, on Sunday evening (09/03).
Among the attendees were Chairman of the Natuna Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), the Regional Secretary, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), and heads of Regional Government Agencies (OPD).
From the host community, Bunguran Batubi Sub-District Head, Bhabinkamtibnas (Community Police Officer), village heads, the chairman and members of the Village Representative Body (BPD), community leaders, and congregants of Hikmatul Huda Mosque were also present.
At the beginning of her speech, Cen Sui Lan extended her Ramadhan greetings to all Muslims observing the fast. She expressed hope that Ramadhan would serve as an opportunity for self-improvement, strengthening relationships with fellow humans and faith in Allah SWT.
Addressing the budget rationalization, Cen Sui Lan emphasized the importance of cross-institutional collaboration in implementing programs across potential sectors. Equally important, she highlighted the need for support from all members of the community, regardless of their professions and roles.
Earlier in the event, Bunguran Batubi Sub-District Head, Mujahiddin, speaking on behalf of the local community, expressed gratitude for the Ramadhan Safari visit, which is a regular agenda of the Natuna Regency Government.
He reported that the majority of residents in Bunguran Batubi District are farmers and fishermen. In their daily lives, they uphold strong values of tolerance, as demonstrated by harmonious relations among ethnic groups and religious communities. (Pro_kopim/Patli)
