Located in the Gunung Jambat Village Meeting Hall, Suak Midai District, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, opened the 2024 Development Planning Conference (Musrenbang) of Suak Midai District, Monday (29/01) morning.
Also attending this activity included the Vice Regent of Natuna, heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations, District Head, village heads, community figures and other invitees.
In this activity, Wan Siswandi had the opportunity to symbolically hand over Disaster Logistics Assistance from the Natuna Regency Social Service, and assistance from BPJS Employment to the Suak Midai community.
In his speech, Wan Siswandi said that in 2024, according to the previous year’s proposal, the development work programme will focus more on the sector of improving the community’s economy, but will not ignore various other sectors that support and influence the main sector.
For the 2025 proposal, Wan Siswandi emphasised that priority programmes should not only be limited to physical development programmes but can also be in the form of non-physical programmes aimed at increasing the economic stretch of the community, such as the procurement of fertilisers, plant seeds, livestock and so on.
However, as usual, the realisation of the proposed priority programmes will be realised based on budgetary capacity and the principle of equity, both for the field of development, as well as the location of the focus of the work programme.
The above is none other than intended for the realisation of equitable development throughout the region, as well as an effort to increase the potential in each sub-district to be more economically empowered to improve the welfare of the local community.
On the same occasion, Suak Midai District Head, Zulfani Afwan said that based on the recapitulation of priority program proposals generated through the Musrenbang at the village level, Suak Midai District has also determined several priority proposals, including revitalising the road from in front of the Puskesmas to Sungai Merah, Freeing the felling of coconut trees that interfere with the electricity network, Adding a low voltage electricity network in Air Kumpai Village and several other proposals.
