Opening the 2nd Batch of One Teacher One Book Activities, the Vice Regent of Natuna Expects to Increase the Literacy Level of Education Personnel”.

The Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, attended and opened the Writing Training activity for teachers entitled "One Teacher One Book Movement", held in the meeting room of the Natuna Regency Library and Archives Office, Ranai, on Saturday (04/11) morning.

Attended the event were the Head of the Natuna Regency Library and Archives Office, the Chairperson of the Natuna Regency Indonesian Teachers Association, and the trainee teachers.

In his speech, Rodhial Huda explained the purpose of the training was to increase the level of literacy, especially for teachers as the foundation to educate the next generation.

Appreciation was conveyed to the teachers who successfully wrote books in the first batch of training, he hoped that the second batch of training participants, consisting of approximately 50 people, could also produce writings that could provide benefits both for the world of education and general information for the community.

Rodhial suggested that teachers should continue to work in the midst of current technological advances, so as to create innovations in learning methods for students that are relevant to current conditions.

The Head of the Natuna Regency Library and Archives Office, Erson Gempa Afriandi, stated that the activity, which collaborated with the Indonesian Teachers Association and several related institutions, was a form of joint commitment to improve the ability of educators.

Through this activity, it is hoped that it can build the motivation of teachers to produce useful writing and improve the competence of teachers who have more dynamic literacy skills. (Pro_kopim/Atra)
