Opening the 2026 Regional Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang), Natuna Regent Invites All Stakeholders to Shape the Direction of Regional Development

The Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, accompanied by the Deputy Regent of Natuna, Jarmin, officially opened the 2026 Natuna Regency Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang), held at the Adiwana Jelita Sejuba Ballroom, Bunguran Timur District, on Tuesday morning (10/02).

In her remarks, Cen Sui Lan emphasized that the RKPD Musrenbang is a strategic forum for gathering input and aspirations from all stakeholders to refine regional policy directions. This forum serves as the implementation of Law Number 25 of 2004 on the National Development Planning System, as well as a manifestation of the local government’s commitment to realizing participatory, well-directed, and sustainable development planning.

She further explained that regional development cannot be separated from the dynamics of national policies for 2027, particularly as the national budget remains in a transitional phase of fiscal policy that prioritizes efficiency and budget consolidation. This includes expenditure control and adjustments to intergovernmental transfer funds, while encouraging regions to optimize their leading economic potentials in an effective and productive manner.

In addition, Cen Sui Lan noted that 2027 marks the second year of the implementation of the vision, “A Prosperous, Competitive, and Cultured Natuna Regency.” She expressed hope that regional development priorities would focus on strengthening the economy based on local flagship sectors, through downstream industrial development, improving the quality of human resources, enhancing regional connectivity, and strengthening good governance practices.

She also called on all Musrenbang participants to actively contribute constructive input and to reinforce synergy and collaboration between the local government, the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), and all elements of society in formulating the future development direction of Natuna Regency.

The event was attended by the Chairperson and Members of the Natuna Regency DPRD, Forkopimda, the Regional Secretary, Assistant Regents, Heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), the Coordinator of the Regent’s Special Staff, sub-district heads, village heads, community leaders, school principals, private sector representatives, and the Natuna Regency Regional Development Acceleration Team.
