As part of his official visit to Natuna Regency, Governor of the Riau Islands, Ansar Ahmad, attended the Halal Bihalal Eid al-Fitr 1446 H gathering with officials from the Natuna Regency Government. The event was also attended by members of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), community leaders, representatives of local organizations, school principals, and high school student representatives from around the city of Ranai.
Held at the Sri Serindit Building in Ranai on Thursday morning (April 24), Ansar Ahmad began his remarks by extending his greetings for Eid al-Fitr 1446 H. He encouraged everyone to use this moment as an opportunity to strengthen relationships and to forgive one another.
In addition, the Governor expressed his appreciation to all government components, institutions, and individuals involved in the recent 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections (Pilkada Serentak). Following his re-election as Governor of the Riau Islands, Ansar affirmed his commitment to carrying out the duties and responsibilities entrusted to him with integrity, aiming to realize a progressive, just, and equitable Riau Islands Province.
He further emphasized the importance of synergy between the provincial and regency/municipal governments in advancing regional development and public welfare.
