Observing Midai Madrasah Ibtidaiyah School, The Regent of Natuna Promises to Immediately Realise the Repair of Building Damage

During an official visit to Midai District, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, accompanied by several heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations (OPD) and elements of the Midai District Government had the opportunity to review the location of the Midai Madrasah Ibtidaiyah School Building which is currently in a badly damaged condition, Monday ((29/01) morning.

Wan Siswandi stated on the occasion that the local government’s observation this time, accompanied by several related OPDs, intended to see directly the current condition of these educational facilities so that further budgeting for rehabilitation would be carried out according to the damage experienced.

Furthermore, according to Wan Siswandi, the damage that occurred was deemed necessary to be handled quickly, considering and considering the safety and comfort factors of students studying at this school.

In relations to the development of the education sector, it is a mandate for the local government to pay attention and become one of the focuses together. Therefore, the condition of the damaged school building facilities must be repaired immediately to ensure the implementation of teaching and learning, as well as improving other educational support facilities.

Furthermore, Wan Siswandi emphasised that the local government will never discriminate against the status of schools, both public and private. What can be realised in meeting the needs of the education sector both in Midai District and throughout the Natuna Regency area, will remain a concern.
