Natuna Regional Secretary Attends Emergency and Security Committee Meeting at Ranai Airport

The Natuna Regency Government, represented by Regional Secretary H. Boy Wijanarko Varianto, attended the Emergency and Security Committee Meeting of Class III Ranai Airport on Monday morning (August 11) at the Gajah Mina Ballroom, Jelita Sejuba.

This meeting was initiated as a cross-sectoral coordination forum aimed at strengthening preparedness and ensuring a rapid response in the event of potential emergencies within the Ranai Airport area.

Various related stakeholders were present, including the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), National Police (Polri), local government agencies, airline representatives, and aviation authorities. Their presence reflected a shared commitment to maintaining aviation safety and security in Natuna.

Regional Secretary H. Boy Wijanarko Varianto emphasized the importance of this meeting in aligning strategic actions and enhancing inter-agency communication. “With strong coordination, we can ensure that emergency handling is carried out swiftly, accurately, and in a measured manner to safeguard all parties involved,” he stated.

In addition to discussing emergency response procedures, the meeting also highlighted plans for regular joint drills, ensuring that all stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities should an incident occur.
