Natuna Regional Secretary Attends 2025 Indonesian Navy Fleet Anniversary Ceremony at Lanal Ranai

Natuna Regional Secretary H. Boy Wijanarko, S.E., attended the 2025 Indonesian Navy Fleet Anniversary Ceremony held at the Lanal Ranai headquarters parade ground on Friday morning (05/11).

The solemn ceremony carried the theme “With the Spirit of Jalesveva Jayamahe, the Indonesian Fleet is Ready to Unite the Maritime Strength of the Archipelago to Realize a New, Advancing Indonesia.” The theme underscores the Navy’s crucial role in safeguarding sovereignty and strengthening Indonesia’s maritime unity.

The ceremony was led by Colonel (P) Aan Pranatua Sebayang, S.E., D.W.C., Intelligence Assistant to the Commander of Guspurla Koarmada I, who served as Inspector of the Ceremony. The event involved a full complement of ceremonial officers, including the ceremonial commander, color guards, narrators, and masters of ceremony. Five combined platoons participated, comprising personnel from Lanal Ranai, Guspurla Koarmada I, the Setengar Marine Composite Battalion, KORPRI, and Jalasenastri.

The presence of the Natuna Regional Secretary, Forkopimda members, and leaders of various vertical agencies reflected strong support for the Indonesian Navy’s strategic role in this border region. Representatives from multiple institutions attended, including Lanud Raden Sadjad, Denhanud 14 Kopasgat, the Composite Battalion 1/GP, Natuna Police, Basarnas, Bakamla, BMKG, the Prosecutor’s Office, and the Port Authority. Their involvement highlighted the robust inter-agency synergy in maintaining maritime security and safety.

In his address, the Inspector of the Ceremony delivered the message of Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Dr. Muhammad Ali, who emphasized the importance of increasing professionalism, strengthening unity, and upholding dedication to the nation. He also stressed the need for heightened vigilance, operational readiness, and broader collaboration with the public and relevant agencies to bolster Indonesia’s maritime defense. Modernizing naval equipment and organizational development were also highlighted as key priorities.

The ceremony concluded with the singing of Andhika Bhayangkari and Mars Armada, followed by the awarding of competition prizes held in celebration of the 80th Fleet Anniversary. The moment served as recognition of the sailors’ skills and dedication in commemorating this historic milestone. The entire program ran smoothly, reflecting strong preparation and teamwork by the organizing committee.

The Natuna Regional Secretary’s participation reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to supporting the Indonesian Navy as the frontline guardian of maritime security, especially in a strategic region like Natuna. This year’s Fleet Anniversary also served as an opportunity to strengthen synergy between regional government and defense institutions in building a stronger, more sovereign Indonesia.
