Natuna Regent Symbolically Distributes Assistance During Ramadan Safari, Local Government Ensures Equal Distribution Across Districts

The Government of Natuna Regency has begun distributing various forms of assistance to the community, symbolically handed over during the Regent’s Ramadan Safari visits to several districts.

This was conveyed by the Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, on Saturday (March 14) at her residence. She explained that during each Ramadan Safari event, the regional government symbolically presents aid to several recipients representing the broader community. Meanwhile, the same assistance will still be distributed to residents in other districts.

She emphasized that areas not included in the Ramadan Safari visit schedule will continue to receive the same support through their respective district administrations, ensuring that all eligible residents receive the assistance.

The assistance provided includes incentives for mosque imams and marbut (mosque caretakers), support for Quranic teachers, as well as Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for residents categorized under extreme poverty.

In addition, the local government is distributing the first phase of the Family Hope Program (PKH) assistance, zakat support through the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas), and operational support for mosques.

During the occasion, gift packages containing baju koko (Muslim men’s attire) and hijabs were also distributed as a gesture of the local government’s care and appreciation for the community in welcoming and observing the holy month of Ramadan.

Through this program, the Government of Natuna Regency hopes that all assistance can be distributed fairly so that its benefits are felt by communities throughout the region. Prokopim/Natuna
