On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, officially swore in civil servants to new positions within the Natuna Regency Government. A total of 21 Administrator Officials, 33 Supervisor Officials, and 5 Functional Officials were appointed.
The ceremony took place at the Sri Serindit Multipurpose Building on Yoes Soedarso Street, Ranai. Several key figures were present, including the Deputy Chairperson I of the Natuna Regency DPRD, the Deputy Regent, the Regional Secretary, Staff Experts, and leaders of various Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPDs).
In her address, Cen Sui Lan congratulated all newly appointed officials and expressed hope that their presence would strengthen OPD performance, support government operations, drive development, and improve public services.
She highlighted that every new position comes with new responsibilities and expectations. For this reason, she encouraged the officials to adapt quickly, coordinate effectively, and lead their teams well to ensure that duties and functions are carried out optimally.
Cen Sui Lan also reminded all civil servants to uphold ASN core values: pride in serving the nation, commitment to excellent public service, continuous competency development, accountability, and compliance with regulations. She emphasized maintaining harmony and loyalty while carrying out their duties.
One key message she delivered was that positions are not rewards or punishments, but responsibilities and mandates that must be carried out with integrity and accountability.
