Natuna Regency Holds Farewell Ceremony for Ir. Basri, Regent Honors His Dedication and Service

The Natuna Regency Government held an official retirement ceremony for Ir. Basri, M.Si, Assistant II for Economic and Development Affairs at the Regional Secretariat, on Monday (March 2) morning. The event took place in the second-floor meeting room of the Regent’s Office on Jalan Batu Sisir, Bukit Arai, Bunguran Timur District.

The ceremony was attended by Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan, the Deputy Regent, and heads of regional government agencies. The atmosphere was both solemn and warm, reflecting deep respect for the retiree’s years of service.

In her remarks, Cen Sui Lan expressed her highest appreciation for Ir. Basri’s dedication and contributions to regional governance and development. She acknowledged his significant role in advancing various strategic initiatives throughout his tenure.

During his time as Assistant for Economic and Development Affairs, Ir. Basri was recognized for introducing key policy ideas, particularly in strengthening the people’s economy, maintaining regional inflation control, and accelerating the implementation of development programs. His collaboration with various regional agencies helped reinforce stability and sustained progress across Natuna Regency.

The Regent emphasized that the value of a civil servant’s service is measured not merely by years of tenure, but by the impact and legacy of the policies they leave behind. She noted that Ir.
