Natuna Regency Economic Development Assistant Opens Training and Establishment of SME Centre Institutions in Natuna Regency in 2023.

The Regent of Natuna, represented by the Assistant for Economic Development of the Regional Secretariat of Natuna Regency, Ir. Basri, opened the Training and Establishment of SME Centre Cooperatives in Natuna Regency in 2023 at the central Hotel Hall, Jl. Pramuka, Ranai, Thursday (27/07) morning.

Present at the event were leaders of relevant Regional Apparatus Organisations (OPD), Director of the Nusantara Character Event Institute (LENTERA), Prastia Rahman, S.Kom and SME business people in Bunguran Timur District.

Basri said in his speech that the training and formation of cooperatives is very important, but the biggest difficulty is to build human resources who are able to drive cooperatives and SMEs and SMEs that are able to manage and increase business productivity.

According to Basri, the existence of cooperatives, SMEs and SMEs in the future will greatly support regional economic growth. This is said considering Natuna's status as one of the Natuna Geoparks which greatly allows business entities to support various regional sectors, such as in the tourism sector.

To support and realise the above, Basri emphasised that independent efforts to increase the role of cooperatives towards an independent stage, productivity supported by creativity is a must.

One of the efforts to strengthen the role of SMEs and SMEs to compete in the future, the existence of business associations is no less important to form in the regions. So that all business constraints and problems, ease of access and opportunities to compete in the industrial world are wider.

Basri hopes that through this activity, it can provide benefits for adding knowledge, insight and increasing work motivation for the future to further increase the scale of production, be observant in looking for business development opportunities and in turn born reliable industrial business actors.

On the same occasion, the Chairperson of the Implementation of the activity, Acting Secretary of the Natuna Regency Cooperative and Micro Business Department, Tukino, in his report explained that the purpose of this activity was to provide opportunities for SME business actors in Natuna so that they could increase production and improve their status to become legal entities.

In addition, this activity aims to establish and improve the role of cooperatives as one of the containers and efforts to grow SMEs and SMEs, accommodate production needs and readiness, create entrepreneurial human resources who have managerial skills and business legality.

The participants involved in the activity which will be held for the next 4 days (from 27 to 30 July 2023) are 30 people who are active business actors in the field of Small and Medium Industries, including salai fish and crackers. (Pro_kopim/Endang)
