The Deputy Regent of Natuna, Jarmin, attended the launch of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for the establishment of the Tim Kita Pendekar KMP—an acronym for Collaboration and Integration of Land Affairs, Local Government, the Prosecutor’s Office, and the Acceleration of Land Certification for Koperasi Merah Putih. The event took place at the Hall of the Kejaksaan Negeri Natuna, Jalan Pramuka, Ranai, on Thursday morning (19/02).
Also present were the Chair of the Natuna Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), the Head of the Natuna District Prosecutor’s Office, the Head of the District Court, several heads of regional government agencies (OPD), the Head of the Natuna Land Office, representatives of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara for the Riau Islands region, Major General TNI Yuda Airlangga, sub-district heads, village heads, and local community leaders.
In his remarks, Jarmin stated that the formation of the Tim Kita Pendekar KMP reflects a strong, shared commitment to strengthening inter-agency synergy in providing legal certainty for the assets of Koperasi Merah Putih (KMP). He emphasized that this initiative goes beyond administrative matters and forms part of a broader strategy to reinforce the people’s economy.
Considering that KMP is a national priority program, Jarmin stressed the importance of collaboration among all relevant stakeholders to strengthen the cooperative from multiple dimensions, including institutional capacity, administrative management, and legal certainty over all assets owned by the cooperative.
He further explained that accelerating the issuance of land certificates for KMP assets is a crucial initial step in establishing a solid legal foundation, enabling the cooperative to operate effectively and contribute to improving the welfare of its members and the wider community.
Jarmin expressed his appreciation to the Natuna District Prosecutor’s Office and the Natuna Land Office for their commitment and support, and conveyed his hope that the accelerated land certification process for KMP assets can be completed promptly.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Natuna District Prosecutor’s Office, Erwin Indrapraja, explained that this initiative represents concrete collaboration in support of national priority programs, as mandated by Presidential Instruction Number 12 of 2025 on accelerating the development of physical facilities, warehousing, and supporting infrastructure for Koperasi Merah Putih at the village and sub-district levels.
He noted that the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia plays a key role in providing oversight, safeguarding, and legal assurance—particularly through intelligence and law enforcement functions—to ensure that the KMP program is implemented in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
According to Erwin, this mandate underscores the principle that development must go hand in hand with legal certainty. Every retail outlet, warehouse, and asset utilized must have a clear legal status to prevent potential legal issues in the future.
He concluded by emphasizing that this program is not merely an administrative cooperation, but a collective commitment to ensuring legal certainty for land and building assets of Koperasi Merah Putih at the village, urban ward, and fishermen’s community levels throughout Natuna Regency.
