The education council in each region has a central role in formulating strategic policies that are expected to bring significant changes to education, as is expected to happen in Natuna Regency.
However, to realise this, the Education Council is expected to carry out its role professionally, in synergy with various parties, such as local governments, educational institutions, parents and all levels of society.
This was conveyed by the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, when attending the Inauguration of the Natuna Regency Education Council for the 2023-2027 Period held at the Wanita Building, Jalan Batu Sisir - Bukit Arai, Ranai, Monday, (05/06) afternoon.
Wan Siswandi explained, in an effort to improve the quality of human resources, the local government has collaborated with eight well-known universities in Indonesia, to provide scholarships for Natuna's children who excel.
This effort is a form of the local government's commitment to providing fair opportunities for Natuna's young generation to access quality higher education. With this strategy, it is expected that in the future a competitive young generation will be created and able to answer the challenges of the times.
Also present at the event were several members of the Natuna Regency DPRD, leaders of relevant Regional Apparatus Organisations, and Principals in Bunguran Timur Sub-District. (Pro-kopim/Sri)
