Inaugurating Public Health Centre of Pulau Tiga, The Regent of Natuna Expects OPD Heads to Take Severely Special Allocation Funds

The Government of Natuna Regency, led by the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, and his entourage, visited Pulau Tiga Sub-District on Monday (6/2). He inaugurated the Public Health Centre in Tanjung Batang Village and opened Musrenbang at the Sub-District level.

The Chairman and several members of the DPRD, the Vice Regent of Natuna, Heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations, The Sub-District Head and its elements, village heads and community leaders, as well as the Head and staff of the Public Health Center of Pulau Tiga, attended the occasion.

Wan Siswandi in his speech stated that the Public Health Center must be optimally functioning. Even with a limited number of service personnel and a limited budget, the local government will continue to strive to ensure that health services meet community expectations.

He conveyed that the Public Health Center of Pulau Tiga now has a CT scan (health scanning machine) and showed appreciation to the Indonesian Ministry of Healths for the assistance.

With this service support facility, the community will be able to determine the type of disease, which will allow medical personnel to follow up on disease management.

Furthermore, Wan Siswandi discussed the timeline of the Public Health Center Building's construction, funded by the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) two years ago but constrained during the construction process.

Wan Siswandi hoped that all OPDs will exercise extreme caution in planning, implementing, and supervising various DAK-sourced activities, so that the regional budget can be focused on developing other activities.

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the Public Health Center Building of Pulau Tiga was witnessed by all invited guests. Furthermore, the working visit group was able to inspect the entire building area as well as the health service support facilities located at the health center. (Pro_kopim/irles)
