Located at the Natuna Regency Women’s Building, Jalan Batu Sisir – Bukit Arai, Bunguran Timur District, the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, Boy Wijanarko Varianto officially opened the Socialization of Implementation and Handover of Local Government Credit Cards (KKPD), Monday, (05/08) morning.
Boy stated that the use of KKPD is a form of modernization of local government transactions, in order to realize transparency and accountability in regional financial management, to reduce fraud and increase the use of domestic products that have an impact on increasing revenue for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
In addition, KKPD Implementation is part of the government’s innovation in responding to the demands of rapid technological development and digitalization, and as a form of effort in supporting the shift in public transaction behavior from conventional to non-cash.
Boy hoped that all participants can understand and optimize the use of KKPD, based on the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations, so that financial management can be carried out precisely, quickly and accurately.
Furthermore, Brand Manager of Bank Riau Kepri Syariah, Dwik Darma Putra said that this KKPD is fully in accordance with Permen No. 79 of 2022 concerning technical investigators for the use of KKPD, and is one of the efforts to digitize regional finances.
Dwik explained that BRK Syariah as the bank managing the Regional General Cash Account (RKUD) will continue to support the operations of the Natuna Regency Government, including in the form of issuing KKPD.
