Located at the Office of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Nusa, Ranai, Natuna Regent, Wan Siswandi handed over a Water Tank Trucks from the Natuna Regency Government, on Monday (11/3) morning.
The 1 unit Water Tank Truck is an asset grant from the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) RI to the Natuna Regency Government, then handed back to PDAM Tirta Nusa to improve clean water distribution services to the community.
In his remarks, Wan Siswandi hoped that the assets would not only be a supporting facility, but also be maximised, especially when it is difficult for the community to get clean water, both in the dry season, as well as in other technical conditions (repair, rejuvenation of water installations).
The issue of fulfilling the need for clean water is an important issue considering that water is one of the livelihoods of many people. Although there are still problems here and there that cause PDAM to provide maximum service, Wan Siswandi admits that he will continue to provide support and solutions to various obstacles, so that in the future clean water distribution services can be further improved.
Meanwhile, the President Director of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Nusa, Zaharuddin expressed his gratitude for the concern of the regional government, with the handover of these Water Tank Trucks, there will be 2 units of water tank trucks that will operate.
Zaharuddin explained that so far the role of the water tank car is very vital, especially to distribute water to people who live outside the reach of clean water installations/pipes, as well as several emergency response areas.
Although with the existence of 2 units of tank trucks operating later, Zaharuddin admits that it has not been able to overcome the current problem of clean water distribution, but at least it is a solution that can more or less have an impact on the problems currently faced.
Furthermore, with the coordination and support of all parties, he hoped that PDAM Tirta Nusa will continue to improve clean water services in Natuna Regency in particular.
