The Natuna Regency Government continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the quality of life of its people by providing decent housing—one of the fundamental rights of every citizen.
On Sunday (23/11), in Puak, Ranai, Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan inaugurated and officially handed over the Puak Self-Help Housing units to beneficiary families as part of the Batu Kapal slum relocation program.
Cen Sui Lan emphasized that the development of the Puak Self-Help Housing project is not merely about constructing physical homes, but also about building hope, encouraging self-reliance, and creating a better future for each beneficiary family.
Going forward, she reaffirmed the regional government’s commitment to expanding pro-people programs as part of efforts to accelerate regional development. Key priorities include strengthening basic infrastructure, improving education and health services, and supporting community-based economic growth.
However, she stressed that achieving these goals requires unity and cooperation from all elements of society. She called on the community to continue working hand in hand and supporting various government development programs for the advancement of the region.
Before closing her remarks, Cen Sui Lan delivered a special message to all families receiving the Puak Self-Help Housing units: make these homes a comfortable place to nurture your families, foster togetherness, and instill positive values in your children. Take care of and maintain these houses so they can bring long-term benefits.
The event was attended by the Chair of the Natuna Regency DPRD, the Regional Secretary, members of the Forkopimda, heads of regional government agencies, the Bunguran Timur subdistrict head, the Ranai village chief, community leaders, and all beneficiary families. (Pro_kopim/Atr)
