First Ramadan Safari, Regent and Deputy Regent of Natuna Distribute Zakat and Incentives in West Pulau Tiga

Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan, accompanied by Deputy Regent Jarmin and several heads of regional government agencies, carried out the first visit of the 1447 Hijri Ramadan Safari program at Al Hikmah Mosque in Tanjung Kumbik, West Pulau Tiga District, on Sunday, March 1, 2026 (11 Ramadan 1447 H).

After performing the Asr prayer, the Regent and Deputy Regent handed over Zakat Maal assistance from the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Natuna Regency to 36 mustahiq, or eligible beneficiaries.

On the occasion, Cen Sui Lan emphasized that the Ramadan Safari is not merely a ceremonial event, but also a meaningful opportunity to strengthen ties and directly listen to the aspirations of residents at the district level. The program reflects the local government’s commitment to remaining present and attentive to communities across Natuna Regency.

The Ramadan Safari was also aligned with the Muhibbah Ramadan program between Pulau Tiga District and West Pulau Tiga District. The activities began with a communal iftar, followed by Maghrib and Isha prayers, as well as congregational Tarawih prayers. The event continued with the symbolic distribution of incentives to Qur’an teachers, mosque imams, and mosque caretakers throughout West Pulau Tiga District.

The incentives serve as a form of appreciation from the regional government for the dedication of religious leaders who have played a vital role in fostering spiritual life within the community.

Cen Sui Lan expressed hope that this support would positively contribute to community development efforts and help nurture a more religious and harmonious society amid the ongoing dynamics of regional development.

In addition, cash assistance was presented to the management of Al Hikmah Mosque through a partnership program between Bank Riau Kepri Syariah and the Natuna Regency Government. The assistance is expected to support the mosque’s operational needs and the development of its religious activities. (Pro_kopim/Patli)
