Held at the Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of the Natuna Regent’s Office, Jalan Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Ranai, on Wednesday afternoon (11/02), Cen Sui Lan, Regent of Natuna, chaired a coordination meeting with all sub-district heads across Natuna Regency.
In her remarks, Cen Sui Lan emphasized the strategic role of sub-district heads as the frontline of regional governance. She underlined their responsibility to ensure that priority regional programs are properly implemented so that their benefits can be directly felt by the community.
One of the key issues highlighted in the meeting was the validation and updating of population data, particularly Decile 1 and Decile 2 data, which classify households based on economic welfare levels.
The Regent stressed that accurate and up-to-date data is crucial to the success of social assistance distribution, including BPJS subsidies and other social aid programs. For this reason, she instructed all sub-district heads to prioritize monthly data updates and ensure that no underprivileged residents are left unrecorded.
In addition, Cen Sui Lan drew attention to the distribution of assistance for guru ngaji (Qur’an teachers), which has been delayed due to incomplete administrative requirements. She urged sub-district heads to immediately follow up on these administrative issues so that the assistance can be disbursed without further delay, as a form of government support for their important role in strengthening religious and moral development.
Concluding her remarks, the Regent encouraged all sub-district heads to coordinate closely with officials at all levels under their authority during the data collection process. This, she noted, is essential to ensuring data accuracy and guaranteeing that social assistance reaches the intended beneficiaries effectively and fairly.
Also present at the meeting were the Deputy Regent of Natuna, the Regional Secretary, and all sub-district heads from across Natuna Regency. (Pro_kopim/D&S)
