Distributing Mobile Food Carts, Natuna Regent Encourages Proper Maintenance to Support Local Economic Activities

Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan, accompanied by Deputy Regent Jarmin, Regional Secretary Boy Wijanarko Varianto, the Head of the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and MSMEs of Natuna Regency, along with sub-district heads and village chiefs from Bunguran Timur District, attended the distribution of business assistance in the form of mobile trading carts at Pantai Piwang, Ranai, on Wednesday morning (11/02).

The event marked the symbolic handover of 25 mobile trading carts to local micro and small business operators. Addressing the recipients, Regent Cen Sui Lan expressed her hope that the assistance would be properly maintained and optimally utilized to support and expand their business activities.

On the same occasion, the Regent and her delegation also visited rows of trading stalls that had already been operating in the area. She reminded traders to consistently maintain environmental cleanliness, ensure the hygiene of their selling facilities, and uphold food safety standards for their products.

According to the Regent, maintaining a clean, comfortable, and hygienic trading environment is essential to enhancing visitor interest and public comfort. This is particularly important as Pantai Piwang has increasingly become a popular public space, frequently used by residents for leisure, exercise, and various community activities.
