At Wan Seri Beni Hall, Riau Islands Governor’s Office, Dompak, Tanjungpinang, on Tuesday morning (11/3), Deputy Regent of Natuna, Jarmin, attended the inauguration ceremony, accompanying his wife, Syafartidah, who was entrusted by the Regent of Natuna to represent him at the Inauguration of the Chairpersons of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) Movement Team and the Posyandu Steering Team for districts/cities across Riau Islands Province for the 2025-2030 period.
The event was held as part of the inauguration of Dewi Kumalasari Ansar Ahmad as Chairperson of the PKK Movement Team and the Posyandu Steering Team for Riau Islands Province for the 2025-2030 period. She was officially inaugurated by the Governor of Riau Islands, Ansar Ahmad.
Among those in attendance were Chairman of the Riau Islands DPRD, Iman Sutiawan, members of Riau Islands Forkopimda, heads of provincial government agencies, as well as regents and mayors from across Riau Islands Province.
In her speech, Chairperson of the PKK Movement Team and Posyandu Steering Team of Riau Islands, Dewi Kumalasari Ansar, emphasized that the future direction of PKK and Posyandu programs will align with the 2025-2029 national development vision and mission, supporting President Prabowo’s Asta Cita (Eight Aspirations) program.
Dewi also highlighted the importance of control, monitoring, and evaluation in implementing various programs to ensure their sustainability, supported by adequate budgeting.
Concluding her speech, Dewi Ansar expressed her hope for collaboration and synergy among all stakeholders, particularly between the PKK Movement Team and the Posyandu Steering Team in each district/city, as collaborative partners.
According to Dewi, these two organizations are highly interconnected, especially in their shared objectives—namely, to support regional development efforts, reduce stunting prevalence, and address various social issues to create self-sufficient, healthy, and prosperous families. (Pro-Kopim/Atra)
