At Gerai Natuna Restaurant, Batu Kapal, Ranai, Deputy Regent of Natuna, Jarmin, SE, accompanied by Chairperson of the Natuna PKK Mobilization Team, Syafartidah, attended the communal Iftar organized by the West Bunguran Family Association (IKBB) on Saturday evening (22/03).
Also present at the event were Natuna Regency DPRD member Dardani, who also serves as the Chairman of IKBB, the West Bunguran District Head, community leaders, and IKBB members, particularly those residing in Ranai and its surrounding areas.
IKBB is a community organization that unites residents of West Bunguran District. It regularly holds monthly gatherings and activities that strengthen social bonds and foster a sense of solidarity.
In his speech before Iftar, Jarmin expressed his hope that IKBB would continue to be a platform for unity and friendship while also supporting a harmonious environment conducive to regional development.
Furthermore, he encouraged IKBB to actively engage in strategic efforts, such as preserving local traditions and promoting indigenous wisdom as a reflection of cultural values and identity.
Meanwhile, IKBB Chairman Dardani emphasized that the Iftar gathering is an annual organizational agenda, serving as a means to strengthen bonds and enhance Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah).
He further stated that West Bunguran residents will continue to support a peaceful and conducive environment, contributing to regional development through various roles and responsibilities, both for those living in Ranai and its surroundings and those spread across different districts in Natuna Regency.
