Commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an 1446 H / 2025 M, Deputy Regent of Natuna: Enhance Understanding and Practice of the Sacred Values of the Qur’an

The revelation of the Qur’an as a miracle bestowed upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a profound spiritual event that has significantly influenced the course of Islamic history. It has shaped the order of the Muslim community, provided guidance for living as righteous individuals, and remains relevant to this day.

The commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an should serve as a moment for self-reflection—assessing the extent to which Muslims have embraced the Qur’an as a guiding principle in fostering relationships with fellow human beings and in strengthening their connection with Allah, the Almighty.

This message was conveyed by the Deputy Regent of Natuna, Jarmin, SE, in his speech at the commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an 1446 Hijriyah, held at Baitul Izza Grand Mosque in Ranai, Bunguran Timur District, on Sunday night (March 16).

Among those present at the event were the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Natuna Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), the Regional Secretary, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the Assistant for Government Affairs of the Natuna Regional Secretariat, heads of Regional Government Organizations, and the congregation of Baitul Izza Grand Mosque.

Furthermore, Jarmin expressed his hope that through the commemoration of this significant Islamic event, religious leaders and Qur’anic educational institutions would continue to support efforts to eradicate Qur’anic illiteracy and actively preach the deeper meanings contained within the Holy Qur’an. This is part of the ongoing endeavor to nurture a community of devout and pious Muslims.

Additionally, he emphasized that the understanding of the sacred values embedded in the Qur’an should serve as a foundation for thoughts and behaviors, reflected in daily social interactions. (Pro_kopim/Arf).
