The activity was attended by the Head of the Natuna Regency Education and Culture Office, the Head of Bunguran Selatan Sub-District, the Chairperson and all the administrators of PGRI Natuna Regency, village heads, school principals and representatives of Women's Organisations in Bunguran Selatan Sub-District, students of the ceremony participants.
Khaidir at that time delivered a written speech from the Chairman of the PGRI Executive Board, saying that PGRI as a professional organization for teachers, educators, and education personnel has grown into an intellectual moral force in fighting for the improvement of the dignity of its members.
In carrying out its role, PGRI must put forward an inclusive attitude, by upholding ethics, and mutual respect in the spirit of an independent, unitaristic, and non-partisan organisation.
PGRI continues to maintain strategic and constructive partnerships with local governments and become a forum for the aspirations of its members, in improving the dignity of teachers to realize the goals of national education.
In the education process, teachers must be able to become the main and important actors who play a strategic role, the honorable position held by officials developed by the legislature and the executive is certainly inseparable from the role and services of teachers.
Therefore, PGRI expresses its gratitude to all teachers, education, and education personnel, especially honorary teachers who faithfully serve to fill the vacancies of permanent teachers and teach wholeheartedly in schools. Without their dedication and devotion, the learning process in schools would be halted due to the absence of teachers.
