Leading the Natuna Regency Government delegation during the Ramadan Safari 1447 Hijri, the Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, accompanied by the Vice Regent and several heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), attended the closing ceremony of the Muhibbah Ramadan event in Pulau Tiga District on Tuesday (10/03).
This activity is an annual agenda in which the district and village governments organize visits from one village to another, filled with various religious activities throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The program aims to strengthen friendship and brotherhood among the communities of Pulau Tiga District and Pulau Tiga Barat District.
The closing event was held at Al-Bayan Mosque, where the delegation was welcomed by several officials, including the Head of Pulau Tiga District and the Acting Head of Pulau Tiga Barat District, along with mosque administrators and residents from various villages who participated in this year’s Muhibbah Ramadan activities.
In her remarks, Cen Sui Lan expressed her appreciation for the successful organization of the Muhibbah Ramadan program by the communities of both districts. She noted that the initiative reflects a strong effort to strengthen social ties while reinforcing religious values in daily community life.
She also highlighted that the occasion serves as an important opportunity to strengthen communication between the regional government and the public, particularly during Ramadan—a time when religious devotion among Muslims increases and the spirit of harmony and togetherness becomes more deeply felt.
According to Cen Sui Lan, this atmosphere of unity and brotherhood should continue to be nurtured alongside the region’s development efforts, as it forms an essential foundation for advancing the region toward greater prosperity and progress while seeking blessings from Allah SWT.
She further encouraged Muslims across Natuna Regency to make the most of the Ramadan momentum by improving the quality of their worship, striving to gain spiritual rewards and becoming better Muslims—both in the eyes of fellow human beings and with stronger devotion before Allah SWT.
On the same occasion, the Regent also handed over various forms of assistance provided by National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas), Bank Riau Kepri through its CSR program, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, the Food Security Office, the Social Affairs Office, and the Social Welfare Section of the Natuna Regional Secretariat.
The assistance was symbolically distributed to several beneficiaries, including mosque administrators, underprivileged residents, and mustahik (eligible zakat recipients). Pro-Kopim (D)
