Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan, accompanied by Deputy Regent Jarmin and officials from regional government agencies, welcomed the return of Hajj pilgrims from Natuna Regency for the 1446H/2025 pilgrimage season. The welcoming event was held at Baitul Izzah Grand Mosque, Natuna, on Tuesday afternoon (June 17).
In her remarks, Cen Sui Lan expressed deep gratitude that all the pilgrims returned safely after completing the Hajj pilgrimage in the holy land for approximately 40 days.
She hoped that, after facing numerous challenges—including drastic climate differences and other obstacles—the pilgrims of Natuna Regency would be granted the title of hajj mabrur/mabruroh (a Hajj accepted by Allah).
Cen Sui Lan also extended her appreciation to all the committee members and related stakeholders involved in organizing this year’s Hajj program. She emphasized that the teamwork and solidarity shown throughout the process should continue in various future government initiatives.
Also present at the event were the Regional Secretary, members of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Forkopimda officials, regional assistants, heads of local government agencies (OPD), the Head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs for Natuna, the Chairwoman of Natuna’s PKK, the returning Hajj pilgrims, and their families and loved ones who gathered to welcome them home.
