Located at Piwang Beach, Ranai, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi accompanied the Governor of the Riau Islands to release 2,500 development parade participants, the development parade held this year was a form of gratitude to Allah SWT in order to welcome the 78th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence. On this occasion, Wan Siswandi conveyed this activity aims to increase the fighting spirit to fill independence and nurture the spirit of nationality between generations and strengthen friendship between people amid the cultural diversity that exists in Natuna Regency.
Wan Siswandi also appreciated and expressed his gratitude to the participants who had participated in displaying various artistic and cultural attractions while hoping that this spirit of togetherness and cohesiveness could continue to be maintained.
This series of development parade activities was attended by 2,540 participants, consisting of various layers of elements in the community such as the ranks of the Malay Customary Institution, the ranks of Natuna's existing Community Organizations, various tribal groups in Natuna, as well as elementary to high school students.
Each participant gave their best performance, starting from wearing traditional clothes, wearing professions to displaying attractions witnessed directly by the Governor of Riau Islands and the Regent of Natuna. (Pro_kopim/Atra)
