Located at the Sepempang Village Office, Bunguran Timur Subdistrict, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, inaugurated members of the BPD for Inter-Time Replacement (PAW) for the remaining term of office for the 2020-2023 period, as well as inaugurating the Sepempang Village Jelita Library Building. The event was also attended by the Vice Chairman of the DPRD, the Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Office, the Head of the Library and Archives Office, the Head of Bunguran Timur Sub-District, Village Heads, Village Officials, and the Community.
The PAW officially appointed is Amiruddin, to whom the Regent of Natuna is advised to perform his duties and responsibilities following the mandate of the prevailing laws and regulations.
To all members of the Sepempang BPD in particular, Wan Siswandi expressed his hope to continue to build synergy with the Village Government to realise changes, especially in the context of prospering and advancing the village.
Related to the inauguration of the Sepempang Village Jelita Library, appreciation was also expressed to the village government for allocating a budget to set up this library, hoping that in the future it can be maintained together, to provide benefits to the community to improve the insight and literacy skills of the community.
With the presence of this library, Wan Siswandi hopes that it can become the centre of information, a place for the public to explore information, improve insight, and raise awareness to maintain and develop Malay cultural values.
Wan Siswandi explained that along with the development of information and technology, a library should be a medium to encourage the community to maximise the use of these advances to obtain useful information.
According to him, with the mastery of useful information, it is not impossible that people can develop their potential so that they have the ability and skills to create jobs, which in turn can improve welfare.
This agenda was ended by giving the Regent of Natuna congratulations and prayers on his 55th birthday, wishes came from various circles such as Regional Government officials, employees, and media crews, and this time many came from the community who prayed that the number one person in Natuna would be given health and strength to continue serving in advancing Natuna Regency.
