Tuesday (19/12) The Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, handed over financial assistance to 33 Quran reading teachers in Pulau Tiga and Pulau Tiga Barat sub-districts.
The assistance came from the Natuna Regency Tilawatil Quran Development Institute (LPTQ) through the Natuna Regency Government.
In the understanding of community life, a Koran recitation teacher is someone who, out of high awareness and sacred calling, is willing to donate themselves to become a Koran teacher.
Initially, a Koran recitation teacher is someone who specifically guides how to read the Quran correctly, but in reality, a Koran recitation teacher is not just that but also guides the person who learns to understand anything about Islamic affairs.
In its development, the community also makes the Koran recitation teacher a figure who is expected to be able to provide alternatives and solutions to various community problems.
Rodhial expressed his appreciation to the Quran recitation teachers who have devoted themselves to fostering the recitation of the Qur'an to children in Natuna, especially in the two sub-districts.
Furthermore, Rodhial said that in any era and time, Quran recitation teachers play a very important role in the development of reading the Al Quran even though the packaging and terms change, the essence remains the same.
Seeing the position of such an important role, Rodhial argued that there must be an effort to prepare and provide support for Quran recitation teachers, especially for fulfilling spiritual needs and supporting the creation of Muslims who are at least literate in reading the Qur'an.
Rodhial hopes that all Quran recitation teachers will continue to encourage the spirit of learning and direct students to be better for the future.
At the end of his speech, Rodhial Huda invited all the people of Pulau Tiga and Pulau Tiga Barat sub-districts to always prosper the mosque to reap the blessings and safety of Allah SWT. (Pro_kopim/Irles)
