Dharmawanita Persatuan (DWP) is one of the women's organisations that serves as a forum for the wives of civil servants, which in its role must contribute significantly to the implementation of development.
Therefore, efforts to unite the perception, run the wheels of the organisation in stages in a solid and integrated manner are a must.
This was conveyed by the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, when attending the commemoration of the 24th DWP Anniversary in 2023, which was held at the Sri Serindit Building, Batu Hitam Village, Ranai, Thursday (7/12) morning.
On this occasion, Wan Siswandi wished all DWP administrators and cadres a happy birthday. He hopes that DWP members wherever they are to continue to foster a sense of togetherness, and cohesiveness to realise organisational goals, as well as make this organisation take part in development.
On the same occasion, the Chairperson of the Activity Organiser, Emi Sabarina Marwan, said that the purpose of this activity was to continue to foster awareness of the strategic role played by women, especially DWP members in supporting the implementation of sustainable development.
In addition, currently, DWP continues to optimise the role of women to support various pillars of development, especially related to the fields of education, economy, socio-culture and environment, increasing business activities.
In addition to efforts to strengthen friendship and brotherhood among the management, several pillars that have always been the focus above continue to be pursued through determining the direction of organizational movement, considering that these various pillars are considered to greatly affect efforts to realise prosperity.
Also present on the occasion were members of the Forkopimda, Regional Secretary, Pre-Assistant, several Regional Apparatus Organisation Leaders, Sub-District Heads, Chairperson of the Natuna Regency PKK, DWP advisors and administrators as well as heads and representatives of women's organisations in the working area of Natuna Regency.
