The Regent of Natuna Opens the Indonesian Dangdut Song Festival in Commemoration of the 95th Youth Pledge Day 2023

The Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, attended and officially opened the Indonesian Dangdut Song Festival on the occasion of the 95th Youth Pledge Day, held at Piwang Beach Square, Ranai, Wednesday (25/10) night.

Attending the event were representatives of Forkopimda and heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations, the Chairperson of the Natuna Regency TP PKK, and the community and activity participants.

In his speech, Wan Siswandi invited all parties to revive the arts through this festival by involving various regional music communities.

He hoped this event could become a forum for voice art lovers to improve their skills and find talented seeds in the field of art, especially the dangdut genre, which is an original Indonesian song genre.

He explained that this event was the first organized by the Natuna Regency Government, through the Youth and Sports Office. In the future, it is hoped that it can be organized into an annual routine agenda.

Furthermore, the Head of the Natuna Regency Youth and Sports Office as well as the chief organizer, Suhardi said the event was part of the youth program to create positive activities for youth and the community.

This event was held in collaboration with the Natuna music lovers community, attended by 59 participants from several sub-districts, and held until the peak of the Youth Pledge Day on 28 October 2023. (Prokopim/Arf).
