To achieve the acceleration of stunting reduction in Natuna Regency, real steps must be taken, which require the ability to read the situation, determine external or internal factors, determine the real problems, and identify programmes that have been and will be prepared to solve existing problems.
The purpose of this activity, especially the Technical Team / Entry Team of 8 convergence actions in Web Monev Bangda, is expected to help ensure that all stakeholders involved can coordinate well, and have the same understanding, concept and direction in efforts to reduce stunting in Natuna Regency.
On this occasion, Rodhial Huda in his speech explained that currently Indonesia is experiencing a demographic bonus, this is an opportunity to become a developed country in 2045.
Stunting, which is closely related to child nutrition problems, is an important factor and determines Indonesia's ability to take advantage of these demographic conditions.
Stunting can also reduce children's intellectual capacity and have a negative impact on the economy in the future. Stunting is not only a health issue, but also a social and economic issue. Therefore, this must be the responsibility of all parties.
Rodhial Huda further explained that based on data from the SSGI survey results in 2021 it was 17.8%, and in 2022 it was 18%. While the national target in 2024, the stunting target must fall at 14%, it takes hard work and concern from all parties.
There are several concrete steps that must be taken to alleviate stunting, including the importance of good nutrition in the first 1000 days of life, ensuring that quality health services are available and affordable for all communities, and increasing community access to proper sanitation and clean water.
To achieve the goal of accelerating the reduction of stunting, Rodhial Huda stressed that the ability to read the situation, determine external or internal factors, determine the real problems and identify programmes that have been and will be arranged can solve the existing problems.
Therefore, it is necessary to increase the competence of regional apparatus, one of which is through the Technical Guidance held at this time, to provide an understanding of the importance of implementing stunting convergence in efforts to reduce stunting in the Natuna Regency. (Pro_kopim/Irles)
