The Regent of Natuna, represented by the Assistant for Governance, Khaidir, officially opened the event, Training on Increasing the Competitiveness Capacity of Young Entrepreneurs, held at the Trend Central Hall, Jalan Pramuka Ranai, Wednesday (18/10) morning.
Attending the event were several heads of related Regional Apparatus Organisations and participants of the event who are beginner entrepreneurs.
According to Khaidir, one of the issues faced by Indonesia today is the lack of entrepreneurs, especially the youth who should have a high level of productivity and competitiveness.
Efforts to increase the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia must start with developing entrepreneurship among youth. This is intended to increase the percentage of entrepreneurs in Indonesia, which currently only reaches 1.56% (one point fifty-six percent).
Based on these thoughts, the Regional Government took the initiative to organize various programs to foster awareness and interest among youth, including training to increase the competitiveness of young entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, on the same occasion, the Head of the Natuna Regency Youth and Sports Office, Suhardi, reported that the purpose of this activity was to increase the competence of young entrepreneurs' human resources and improve business planning and entrepreneurial financial administration skills.
The activities of awareness, empowerment, and development of youth and youth towards Regency / City pioneer youth, novice young entrepreneurs, and Regency / City Cadre Youth, are carried out through training for novice young entrepreneurs.
The activity will be held for two days (18 to 19 October 2023, with 25 participants in the activity, consisting of 10 representatives from KNPI Youth organizations and 15 people from Young Entrepreneurs from the nearest District. (Pro-Kopim (D)
