The Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, Boy Wijanarko, officially opened the Competency and Potential Assessment within the Natuna Regency Government in 2023, held at the Trend Central Hotel Hall, Jl. Pramuka, Ranai, Tuesday (17/10) morning.
Several heads of relevant Regional Apparatus Organisations and participants consisting of administrator officials within the Natuna Regency Government attended the event.
On the occasion, Boy Wijanarko Varianto said that this activity aims to measure the ability and competence of legislator officials and their potential in carrying out tasks or performance.
This can eventually be seen from the overall results of the potential evaluation, there is a change in performance results either increasing, defaulting, or decreasing. Through the evaluation, it will be a consideration for the application of the competency qualifications of the officials mentioned.
Through this competency training, the appropriateness study will be measured and it is whether or not an official is given the mandate to hold a mandate position, as well as strengthening the official performance evaluation system that is currently being built.
On the same occasion, the Head of BKPSDM Natuna Regency, Alim Sanjaya, reported that this activity aims to assess the potential and competence to carry out civil servant management and improve professional ASN HR governance through ASN management based on a merit system.
The results of the assessment will later be used as material for leadership consideration for the implementation of employee career development and employee competency development in the future.
It was also said that this activity refers to the Regulation of the State Personnel Agency Number 26 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Civil Servant Competency Assessment and Natuna Regent Regulation Number 148 of 2022 concerning Civil Servant Competency Assessment using the Assessment Centre.
The methods used in the assessment and evaluation process consist of psychometric/psychological tests, simulations consisting of proposal writing, leaderless group discussions, and competency-based interviews.
This activity will be held from 17 to 20 October 2023 with 60 participants, consisting of Administrator officials within the Natuna Regency Government. (Pro_kopim/Endang)
