The Regent of Natuna represented by the Regional Secretary, Boy Wijanarko Varianto, accompanied by the Government Assistant and related OPDs attended the Evaluation Meeting of Even Semester Education in 2022/2023 virtua.
The activity was held from the Zoom Meeting Room of the Natuna Regent's Office, second floor, Jalan Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Ranai, on Monday (25/09) morning. Also present at the event were the Vice Director and staff of Akamigas Energy and Mineral Polytechnic (PEM).
On this occasion, Boy Wijanarko submitted a request for information regarding the condition of Natuna students who received scholarships at PEM Akamigas.
Appreciation was also expressed to PEM Akamigas, because thanks to the cooperation built, it can provide opportunities for Natuna's sons and daughters to go to college with majors that are in accordance with Natuna's current conditions.
As for some of the material discussed on the occasion, including the conditions of Natuna students who are at the university, both about lectures, achievements, and mastery of material during the lecture period.
On the same occasion, Vice Director of PEM Akamigas, Asepta Surya Wardana also said that this educational institution has alignment with the future workforce preparation plan, considering that Natuna is one of the areas that has considerable oil and gas potential.
In the future, with the availability of human resources who have knowledge related to the management of oil and gas human resources, it is hoped that Natuna's sons and daughters can become supporters/management of regional oil and gas which will also have an impact on improving welfare.
Asepta also thanked the Natuna Regency Government for their commitment. He hopes that all students who get the scholarship program can complete the lecture process well.
The average result of the six scholarship students is seventy-nine (AB) or a very good category, where the average GPA is between 3.01-3.50 (83%) and the GPA of more than 3.51-4.00 (17%).
It was also stated, from the conclusion of the follow-up, Natuna students in the even semester of 2022-2023 had conducted lectures properly with satisfactory results. As a follow-up to this collaboration, Asepta hopes that the Natuna Regency Government can increase the scholarship quota for students at PEM Akamigas. (Pro_kopim/Endang)
