TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono visited Sabang Mawang Naval Post, Pulau Tiga Sub-district, during his official visit to Natuna Regency on Saturday (23/09) afternoon.
On the occasion, the TNI Commander was accompanied by the Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, and several high-ranking officers, such as Pangdam Bukit Barisan, Danrem Wira Pratama Danguspurla and high and middle-ranking officers from Tri Matra, as well as representatives from the delegations of 9 ASEAN countries and East Leste as participants in the Asian Solidarity Exercise (Asex) 01 Natuna, 2023.
Before closing the Asex 01N activity, the TNI AL Commander and his entourage had the opportunity to review the community health service activities held at KRI dr. Radjiman Widyodiningrat, reviewing the construction of habitable houses, handing over food packages, and wheelchair assistance to the local community.
Also present at the event were the Sub-District Head of Pulau Tiga and sub-district leaders, several Village Heads, and community leaders, as well as the recipient community.
In his speech when officially closing the Asex 01N activity, Yudo Margono explained that this activity was not just a manifestation of military power owned by each participating country, but rather an effort to build solidarity, improve non-combat skills, disaster response, and security strategies.
According to Yudo, the togetherness manifested in the form of this joint exercise will have a positive influence on testing and evaluating as well as increasing the preparedness of the personnel securing the sovereignty of their respective territories, against various possible threats and disturbances to the stability and security of ASEAN countries.
Yudo also admitted that he felt proud and grateful to be part of this activity, and hoped that in the future this activity could be held again in order to increase solidarity and brotherhood.
Finally, the Asex 01N activity was officially closed by the TNI Commander, Admiral Yudo Margono, marked by the release of activity participant signs represented by participants from the Indonesian Navy, Basarnas, and representatives from the Malaysian Diraja Navy.
The activity continued with a friendly gathering and all invitees had the opportunity to witness the Sailing pass process, which is a tradition in the Navy unit in the form of respect for all delegates participating in Asex 01N. (Pro_kopim/Axy)
