The Administrative Assistant of the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency Opens Training on Business Management and Marketing in Tourism Destinations.

As for one of the development strategies in the tourism sector in addition to improving facilities and infrastructure, the existence of business actors who have managerial skills is no less important.

This can be obtained from experience, as well as training directed at efforts to increase the value of the tourism sector in the eyes of the world, attracting tourists to visit the region, especially in various tourist destinations that have been packaged in such a way.

This was conveyed by the Regent of Natuna, represented by the General Administration Assistant of the Natuna Regency Secretariat, Tasrif, when officially opening the Business and Marketing Governance Training event at the Natuna Regency Tourism Destination, held at the Natuna Hotel Ranai Darat Hall, Monday (18/09) morning.

Tasrif continued, that the implementation of Business Management and Marketing training in Tourism Destinations is one of the strategic programmes that aims to increase the capacity of the community, especially tourism business managers in providing services, which is expected to have a positive impact on improving the community’s economy.

Through this activity, Tasrif hopes that it can be used as a momentum to develop insights for all participants, which can later be applied in developing businesses, supporting the development of the regional tourism sector.

The same thing was conveyed by the Secretary of the Tourism Office, Wan Abdul Halim in his report, where the purpose of this activity was none other than to increase insight and a broader and more effective understanding of how to improve the tourism business through a more appropriate marketing strategy so that it could provide optimal results.

This is done to support the tourism marketing improvement program, in order to have global competitiveness and have an impact on the progress of the tourism business that is being carried out.
