Attended by the Chairman of the DPRD and the Chairman of Commission 1 of the DPRD, the Regional Secretariat of Natuna Regency, and several heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations, at the Harapan Jaya Village Government Office in Bunguran Tengah Subdistrict, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, had the opportunity to officially open the Art Performance activities on the occasion of the 26th Anniversary of Harapan Jaya Village, last Thursday (08/09) afternoon.
Attending the event were the Head of Bunguran Tengah Sub-District, village heads and BPD members in Bunguran Tengah Sub-District, Uspika, community leaders, traditional leaders, and the local community.
In his speech, Wan Siswandi expressed his appreciation to the elements of government and the Harapan Jaya Village community who had packed the village anniversary commemoration so dynamically, where in addition to being worthy of friendship, there were efforts to preserve cultural diversity, as well as involving local MSME players.
According to Wan Siswandi, efforts to introduce this culture must start by introducing it to children and adolescents, so that as growth occurs, the younger generation will be very familiar with their own culture.
In addition, efforts to build friendship in the community, connecting between elements of government and all elements of development must also continue to be grown.
Wan Siswandi admitted that there was a drastic change in the ability of the regional budget when he and Rodhial Huda led this area.
The decrease in the budget is felt to be very significant and has an effect on the realisation of the development carried out at this time. However, he and all elements of the Natuna Regency local government will continue to make efforts to accelerate the economic growth of the community and improve development.
He admitted that to actualize this, the local government has also built coordination and requests for support for development both at the central level through ministerial and non-ministerial institutions, as well as at the Riau Islands Province level.
