The Regent of Natuna Attends the 78th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence Day Celebration and Farewell of UGM Yogyakarta Student Community Service Program.

Located in the yard of Tapau Village Office, Bunguran Tengah Subdistrict, the Regent of Natuna Wan Siswandi attended the Commemoration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia which was aligned with the Farewell Night of the UGM Yogyakarta Student Community Service Program, Monday (14/08) night.

Attending the event were the Vice Regent of Natuna, Chairman and several DPRD members, Chairperson of the Natuna Regency TP PKK, Heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations, Forkopimcam elements, Village Heads and Chairman of the Tapau Village BPD and members, UGM students and the community.

In his remarks, Wan Siswandi appreciated the activities organized, as a form of cooperation between various parties. According to him, everything that is done together and mutual cooperation always gives success and pride to all elements involved.

Cooperation and mutual cooperation is one of the values of the form of association that must be preserved and grown by every citizen, in every intention and purpose.

He also acknowledged that Natuna Regency Government is currently preparing for the implementation of the 78th Indonesian Independence Day, especially for this year Natuna is designated as the host of the Indonesian Independence Day commemoration at the Riau Islands Province level, as well as preparing for the planned arrival of the Minister of Home Affairs and his entourage.

To the UGM students who have carried out the KKN program, especially in Tapau Village, appreciation and gratitude were also conveyed, hopefully during the task, get good memories, and can return safely to continue the next stage of study.

On the same occasion, the Head of Tapau Village, Sudiono also expressed his gratitude to all elements involved in the 78th Independence Day Celebration which went smoothly.

Sudiono also said that the village he leads this year won first place in the KB Village at the Riau Islands Province level. This success is inseparable from the involvement and attention of various elements, especially medical personnel who continue to educate the community on the importance of the KB Program in planning a healthy, independent and prosperous family.

To the UGM students who have contributed during the KKN program, appreciation is also expressed on behalf of the village government and the Tapau Village Community.

In addition, on the same occasion, UGM Yogyakarta student representative Adinda expressed thousands of thanks to the Tapau Village Community for all their assistance during the KKN program here. Hopefully the help and care so far will become a learning tool and motivate us to continue learning and serving the community.

Finally, the Chairman of the activity committee, Darno also expressed his gratitude to all those who have helped organize this event so that it can run smoothly.

The event continued with a kompang performance from the Tapau Village ladies and the giving of prizes to the winners of the competition in the context of celebrating the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia (Prokopim/Arf).
