The Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, attended the Official Release of the Natuna Contingent at the National Raimuna XII in 2023 at the Meeting Room of the Natuna Regent's Office, Batu Sisir Bukit Arai Street, Ranai, (10/07) morning.
Present at the activity included the Daily Chairperson of the Natuna Kwarcab, the Management of the Natuna Kwartir branch, Raimuna participants, parents of participants.
In his remarks, Wan Siswandi said that the Scout Movement is one of the pillars of education for young people, so that in the future they will be able to contribute significantly to the life of the nation and state.
Through scouting education, it is hoped that it can support the formation of the character of human resources who have a strong leadership character, to continue the life of national development.
To all participants representing the Rover/Senior Scouts, Wan Siswandi hopes that when returning from the Rainas event, they can become the agents of change to motivate their peers to continue to make scouting a forum for youth character education that deserves to be accompanied.
In addition, by becoming an accomplished Scout member, they can make the region and their parents proud, show their abilities, skills to introduce regional culture at the national level event.
On the same occasion, the Secretary of the Natuna Regency Youth and Sports Service, Erwenadi, reported that the Scout Movement is an educational organization that has a big vision in the development and improvement of the quality of the nation's young generation through character education.
The aims and objectives, as a meeting place for Rover Scouts and Senior Scouts throughout Indonesia, to strengthen brotherhood in a variety of innovative, creative, educational, recreative and productive activities.
The implementation of the XII National Raimuna in 2023 took place from July 10 to August 24, 2023 at the Cibubur Jakarta Campground.
The Natuna Rainas contingent amounted to 20 people, consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls (representatives from Bunguran Timur, Bunguran Utara, Bunguran Barat, Bunguran Timur Laut and Pulau Tiga Districts), 2 Branch Contingent Leaders and Health Workers.
The event continued with the handover of the Pataka and the installation of the Natuna Branch Contingent Scraf and the handover of CSR assistance. (Pro_kopim/D)
