The Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, led the Coordination Meeting of the Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team, accompanied by the Regional Secretary and several leaders of related Regional Apparatus Organizations, in his office, Natuna Regent's Office, Batu Sisir Bukit Arai Street, Ranai, last Wednesday (02/08).
According to Rodhial, efforts to reduce the stunting rate require a mapping and analysis process, to then determine an innovative concrete program agreed upon by the entire team according to their authority and function.
One of the sectors that must be a common focus is to increase the role of foster parents, provide education to the community to increase children's visits to Posyandu, so that field conditions can be continuously monitored and evaluated.
In addition, Rodhial hopes that in the future the mapping and data collection stages can be packaged based on information applications that can be accessed by all Regional Stunting Reduction Teams.
This is important, because with uniform data, it will be easier for the team to deal with the real conditions in the field and determine the work program to be determined. Thus, joint efforts will be more targeted.
At the end of his speech, Rodhial conveyed that it should be a common concern, Natuna Regency is an area that has abundant marine resources, which cannot be utilized optimally to meet the nutritional needs of the community.
Therefore, it is necessary to conduct continuous socialization to the community, so that in the future with the awareness and knowledge of the community regarding the potential of highly nutritious food from fishery products, it is expected to have a positive impact on efforts to reduce stunting in Natuna.
